The Xbox Domain

MEGATONik had posted the above picture which they found while going through the xbox live marketplace. Unless Microsoft wanted to give a definition of what a clan is the above caption had to be a hint of Clan Functionality being added to xbox live in the future. The above caption also coincided with the rumor posted by Xbox 360 Rally which said clan support was coming.

Then Frankie from Bungie came in and spoiled all the fun and speculation.

There is no clan support in the game.
Clan support may arrive in a future Dash update.
It will not be in the next update.
Players may still form parties at the press of a button.
Ranked Team Games still exist.
Bnet’s relaunch next week will give you FAR better tools to form a Clan than Halo 2 ever did.
Armor customization will make your clan more distinct anyway.
The old clan system was in fact just a second friends list. It had no other functionality whatsoever.

For all you clan members just hold on and one day Microsoft will probably take care of you.
